Friday, November 24, 2023 - Aired out for 2 hours and poured, no decanting. This was incredibly fresh and fruity given the age. Very fine tannin integration with little residual left in bottle at the end. Blackberries, cherries, bbq smoke, cedar, a little star anise and exotic spice. Better than the last bottle. Dare I say this might have a few years left to go. Outshone the ‘78 Lafite considerably side by side.
