Monday, April 12, 2021 - Tasted blind. Knockout nose of dark fruit, violets, pepper, and black fruit. Really complex and gorgeous, couldn't stop smelling the wine. Nice acidity on the palate with a velvety/soft feel and dark berries, savory notes, and drying tannins arriving late. Long finish. Outstanding wine, I can't wait to see how this develops in 5+ years. But then it's so delicious right now, why wait?
