Monday, October 12, 2020 - Ruby in color and full of typical Loire Valley red wine aromas... tobacco, cherry, earth, violets and slight "green" notes that add complexity but does not veer into the "vegetal" spectrum. This is definitely on the lighter, elegant side of the spectrum. Good acidity and "crunch". On the second day, the gamay character comes out more, with lovely tart cranberries. Not a wine for someone seeking intensity.
