Saturday, March 25, 2023 - Again, one of those bottles I probably should have held onto for a few more years. Still a beautiful Barossa shiraz that leans a bit more red fruit & slightly lighter in body than most. Coconut, vanilla, cedar & anise show plentifully.

Silky mouthfeel, such a smooth wine. Classical Barossa flavour profile, tannins are fine & it finishes long. 30 months in American & French oak, the sweet American oak profile is prominent.

Needs another 5 years to shine properly, but drinking lovely now.
