Straight out of the bottle, this was very Viura forward, with big notes of quince, Meyer lemon and chamomile all coated with the expected waxiness. With about 30-60 minutes the whole thing filled out with with a mouthful of juicy cherry and light strawberry, adding a new level of decadence to the earthier Viura base. The fruit and acid build until giving way to pronounced mineral notes on a really long and complex finish. With a bottle this good, it really drank like a mini-Lopez de Heredia, with a younger / brighter fruit profile. I've also had bottles where that certainly wasn't the case.
