Saturday, September 4, 2021 - Full decant. Deep, bright olive-purple color with ruby edges. Stout, stately aromas of blackberry & black raspberry fruit, iron, mushroom, fresh violet, and paprika & nutmeg spices. Rich and exotic fruit expression on the palate, dark and vivid, with integrated layers of secondary notes like melted stone, fresh rosemary, exotic spices and blood. Round core density, airy and weightless, with vibrant offsetting acidity and fine fleshy tannin, finishing moderately long. In a really nice place at the moment.
