Saturday, March 31, 2012 - Opened and let stand in the bottle for about an hour. Nice bricking on the edge, earthy aroma. Nice balance with spice and earth-tone taste; fruit is there, but settled into the background. Really needed a proper decant as the wine started to open up about 30 minutes after pouring. Can easily go another five years in the cellar, but not necessary.
