Monday, May 10, 2021 - (blind tasting)

Appearance: medium- lemon, green highlights, medium tearing, no gas nor sediment.

Nose: clean, medium intensity, youthful, lemon, green apple, radish, fresh herb, white pepper, white flowers, wet stone, lager.

Palate: dry, medium+ acid, medium body, medium intensity, medium alcohol (12.0%), phenolic bitterness, medium- finish, lemon, green apple, radish, fresh herb, white pepper, white flowers, wet stone, lager.

Overall: A very classic Gruner full of spicy herbal notes and minerality, with some tart fruits. Food friendly and refreshing structure with noticeable phenolic bitterness, but a slightly short finish. Savory and yeasty; this is probably not a crowd pleaser but very classic.
