Thursday, June 13, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Expressive nose displaying rich ripe black fruit blackberry, black cherry, a hint of licorice, baking spices, and earth. Excellent concentration, nicely layered sweet back fruit, rich and warm, fine tannins and a long concentrated black fruit driven finish with a hint of licorice at the end. Perhaps the most concentrated and masculine wine of the line up.
