Thursday, November 28, 2019 - Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): First time with this grape and I didn't quite know what to expect. It's very soft and fruity and a bit spicy. Meant to be strawberry and white pepper and I see that. There's the red fruits. Very fresh and very clear. It is nice easy drinking red wine and gets some points for being the first time with the varietal.
