Thursday, March 31, 2022 - One has to love that this is an entry-level wine for the estate. I decanted it for two+ hours beforehand and it unfurled beautifully into tones of Red cherries, plums, orange peels, crushed rocks, rose petals, violets, and earth notes. The Medium/full bodied feel dances across the palate with a deftness while showing off tart, medium+ acid and silky, medium tannins. This is still a bit young and could certainly benefit from another 2-4+ years of aging. That said, it’s a wonderful introduction into one of my favorite Oregon wine producers and certainly worthy of the people behind it.
