Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - Nothing like the 2016 or the "kinder and gentler" 2017 Dundee Hills Chardonnay. This is what I want in my Goodfellow Chardonnay!
My new QPR Benchmark. It's similar to the rest of the whistling ridge gang in flavor profile. A clear step up from the already awesome Willamette Valley cuvee. It's all here, A nice nose with some flint, great minerality and fruit. On the palate its good nice green apple and citrus with bracing acidity a nice finish. Its got a nice feel but the acidity keeps this wine always tasting light. Another subtle nuanced wine from Goodfellow. All whistling ridge for a song
Popega'd one from UPS and brought another bottling day at the weekend. Well received by all.
