Tuesday, December 3, 2019 - Almost shockingly dry for a 1er Trie Moelleux, but that's more a testament to the effects of time and good winemaking than anything else. Lovely nose of wax, lanolin, hazelnut, and ripe pear. Only a faint honeyed sweetness on the palate, balanced nicely by the powerful (but not overbearing) acidity and lingering, mineral-laced finish. Just love these old treasures.
