Wednesday, July 24, 2019 - Pietros: Wines where the oak is the dominant character are less appealing to me. This is one of those wines. I think under that layer of oak is an appealing wine. The balance is certainly good. I am not scoring this.

7/30/2021 4:15:00 PM - Bravium is part of Trinchero Family Wines (Sutter Home), like many of these wines/brands the pressure to have obvious oak is high from the marketing staff and wine writers.I just tasted Escarpment from NZ similar pricing and fair more finesse. Thanks for your kind words.
