Tuesday, June 21, 2022 - Restaurant pop and pour, had to jump at one of my favorite Viogniers. Light straw in glass aromas of ripe pear, apple blossom, honeysuckle and touch of refreshing lemon. Slight oak notes present as well, but no doubt on the nose this is a light lively wine. Palate is fairly plush while still maintaining good spine of minerality & refreshing acidity. Later glasses gave a further layer of vanilla and light honey with the fruit. The wine has less body, which may led to a bit less vibrancy, but still has firm acidity and a strong slightly rounded finish.
