Friday, December 25, 2020 - Medium intense purple. This gives a constant and intense stream of cherries in many shades, but overall rather onedimensional first. After 6-8 hours in the decanter it delivers some more complexity with strawberries, plums, cherries again, spices and vanilla. But I don't find the quality here for a wine deserving 98 points from the WA nor the nuances Gutiérrez is writing about. Not the "every sip is different" experience one might expect, but an elegant, with time moderately complex enjoyable red with outstanding concentration and intensity. 5/12/17/9
