Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - Received from a friend. First experience with the producer. Was advised to decant for awhile if opening soon (which I did). 55/45 Old vine Mourvèdre and Carignan blend. Wild nose on this and sinfully delicious on the palate. Strikes me as incredibly nimble even at this young stage and could pair well with a wide range of food. Stands up on its own as well. Super intrigued by this and very happy to have experienced it. If all Mourvèdre smelled and tasted like this...well a hell of a lot more folks would be drinking it.
