Sunday, July 26, 2020 - Quest to complete my tasting of all DOCG of Italy; 6/5/2020-8/31/2020 (Home in NL and holiday home in Maremma / Italy): Straw/yellow color. Aromas of apple, citrus honey and hazelnut with some distinct minerality. Full and creamy on the palate with balance fresh acidity and a persistent mineral backbone, some silky tannins and a long finish that echoes the initial impressions.
It might improve a little more in 1-2 years but I wouldn't hold on for it too long. Drink now - 2024.

Impressive Vermentino, and a very serious white wine in general!
