Tuesday, November 8, 2022 - The catch with these Chinon darlings who deliver so damn well is that you must love Cabernet Franc in all it's divisiveness. I do, but my first thought is this can't really be pleasing to everyone. They're astringent and abrasive and not as open armed hey how ya doing as most.

Ogla's Les Barnabés is easier to get to know, though, and something I thoroughly enjoyed - one part green and two parts red. Stem, wood chips and cedar and double dose of finger staining wild raspberries.
