Sunday, October 25, 2020 - Stood up for 2 wks. Decanted off fine sediment although, honestly, there wasn't much. Now 1.5h after decant. Nice aromas of red cherry, a bit of menthol, herbs, subtle brown leaves. Tart red cherries, herbs, a bit of stems, and brown leaves. Elegant palate w excellent acids and mild+ tannins. Nicely balanced. Drinking well but think there's room for further improvement. Finishes nicely w bitter earth.
