Likes this wine:

Friday, January 26, 2024 - Served blind, this was so obviously great from the first whiff. The type of wine you just start getting giddy. Massively deep, palate staining, so much material here one could ponder it for hours and hours. Very polished, refined, and pretty much perfect in every way. Importantly, it continued to improve in the glass - whereas a Leroy served next to it, while stunning at the start, was fading. So the true class of Montrachet came through even blind. Of course I was hoping on the reveal it would be something obtainable, oh well. This is an absolutely spectacular wine, I am thrilled and grateful to have been able to drink it.
