Friday, March 30, 2018 - Extremely controversial bottle tonight. Split decision calling this corked, but I can’t find the TCA. Overripe and maybe a bit of boytritus. Palate is rich and dense with thick yellow fruit. Certainly off, but not corked, and honestly not that bad. Extremely rich, fat, and dense. It is clear that there is a spectacular wine in here, but this bottle is wrong. ~90-91 as it stands now, but not the sensational and endless beauty these wines should be.
