Wednesday, December 25, 2019 - Really an outstanding cuvée when you consider how well it pairs with the top three holiday proteins... Beef, turkey and ham.

The aromas of dark fruit and berries tickle the nose. And these flavors are only amplified on the front palate. Boysenberry and blueberry are quickly rounded out with oak notes and well structured tannins. The mid palette gives way to slightly vegetal notes like mirepoix with black pepper. There's just enough astringency to cut rich, unctuous holiday dishes. The finish is just long enough that last sips pair equally well with fine chocolates after a fabulous holiday feast.

Don't be afraid to decant this wine 4-6 hours or more before the big meal. You'll be delighted, and your guests will, too.
