Saturday, August 26, 2023 - Lovely stuff! I'm getting plum and blackberry rather than black currants leading the dance, along with leather and cigarbox and some oak. Soft tannins. Long finish. This wine is in a good place right now, you could keep it a while but I don't think it will improve much. Auction price was $15 and a great value; wine-searcher sees it around that price at a New Jersey shop.
