Saturday, May 9, 2020 - Medium straw color. First slightly reticent, opening up with some air. Fascinating notes of wet stone, citrus, white flowers, oystershell, steel, also some white peach. It‘s medium-full bodied, with excellent mid-palate persistence, pretty high acidity cutting through the slight creaminess and a touch of phenolic adstringency. Long finish with a saline mineral note. A stunning, complete and very fascinating Fourchaume. This should age beautifully for many years. (94+)
