Sunday, February 4, 2024 - Not what I was expecting. Previous 2014 Barolos have been on the light side with high acidity but this was different. Beautiful floral nose and plenty of concentration and good length.
Quite tarry and a touch closed (still some fine tannin too) but with flowers and fruit lurking beneath the surface which maybe will reveal themselves more with time. Sorely tempted to buy a few more of these. 4
