Community Tasting Note

Friday, February 14, 2020 - From its still primary flavors when first tasted in 2012, this wine has settled in to claret complexity. Rhubarb is gone, but there is plenty of molasses, Draper perfume, and toffee. Dusty rose on the finish with a compelling mouthfeel. A blend of 74% Zin, 18% Carignane and 8% Petite Sirah. Very few grains of sediment. 14.4% alc. With (chicken) coq au vin and the friendship of the Smileys, Sheets and Karen Frank. Highly Recommended.
