Sunday, August 8, 2021 - Not as good as Kistler’s single vineyard expressions, but still quite well-made. Classic Chardonnay notes of green apple and lemon curd. A little more sweetness, roundness, and Oak than I like (and than most of Kistler’s chards have), but the high, pure acid keeps everything together and makes this wine much better than the previous clause may have suggested.
