Saturday, June 4, 2022 - Decanted 3 hours, paired with grilled burgers. Amazingly rich and complex, with sweet black fruit, chalky tannins, a zing of acid that worked really well with the fatty burger, and a sweet vanilla finish. Drinking quite nicely after some airtime, a bit of a surprise with this being a 2016, but I'll take it! Delicious stuff. Drink now with a decant - 2036.
