Friday, October 27, 2023 - Really like this chard and love the wines coming out of Maxem. Feels like gentle malolactic gives some creaminess but this chard has a balance of fruit/ acidity and oak. Acidity was solid but higher acidity and deeper fruit profile would have made this a ridiculous chard. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in the wine.
