Tuesday, August 12, 2014 - The color is garnet and nearly opaque with some red orange to the edge. The smells are strawberry, tar, damp earth, dark cherry, and anise. The tastes are dark cherry, licorice, damp stone, spice, vanilla, and nyquil. The tannins are still stout but sheer and dry. Nice long finish.
