Friday, March 30, 2012 - Pop 'n pour - drank over 3 hours. Big, bold red with pleasing blackberry, cherry, and tobacco. Oak has integrated since the last bottle I tried in 8/2009. Tannins are still present and noticeable. Overall, a very good wine, but I think this shows some Syrah characteristics and is lacking in Cab varietal aromas and flavors. Seemed a little unfocused as well. I scored this 90 points the last time I tried it, and I found that this showed better with a little age on it, but I'm going to score it 89 now mostly due to my changing tastes.
