Saturday, February 15, 2014 - Visiting Napa (Feb 13th - 17th); 2/13/2014-2/17/2014 (Napa, CA): Nose: Blackberry, Currant and Juniper. Eucalyptus and slight mint tea notes. Palate: Light/Medium bodied and extremely silky. Still retaining some ripe fruit, but tannins are long gone here. Blackberry, Cherry preserves and a nice pommegranate note. Good acidity and balance. Finish: moderate, but delivers cranberry and red currant with some mineral notes.
