Tuesday, April 25, 2006 - Dinner with England, Manlin, and Others (Brad's House): Decanted about 15 minutes. Deep red color. An expressive nose showing cherries and a beautiful earthy smell. This was concentrated and mouth coating, giving red fruit from the attack through a long lingering finish. It was slightly acidic and a little tannic on the finish, but was much more approachable than I would have expected. This is a wine to seek out and buy for drinking over the next 20 or more years. Wow.
