Thursday, January 8, 2009 - at it's peak - past experience suggests drink up now. Deep red-purple. Lots on the nose - Raspberry jam, blackberry, typical MV chcocolate hints, cedar, apricot, cloves, vaguley meaty. Palate - raspberry, dark fruits, large tannins, "thick" amost caramel finish. Moderate length.
