Monday, June 14, 2021 - At lunch with Sema, this was monumental. Savagnin aged 130 months then bottled in November 2019. A medium bright gold colour, nose of fresh hazelnuts, very floral - perfumed. Beautifully intense palate, harmonic but massive - tattooed acidic intensity, so fresh but at the same time showing salty nut elements. A bit much for two over lunch if anything. Endless finish, historic and a little crazy.
