Thursday, March 15, 2018 - Perfectly sound and lively. Rich dark fruit, smooth texture, good acidity, overall quite clean flavors per Cottarella's wine-making. Great match with wine braised lamb in anchovies and a little crushed red pepper, duck fat roasted potatoes. It's had plenty of time to develop, but didn't offer anything breathtakingly tertiary so we will drink a second cellared bottle soon.
