Thursday, February 23, 2023 - I have been fortunate to have tasted several of the Sedimentary Soil wines from Alexana and they are very nice. This wine is medium in body but knocking on full. Dark black cherry with mineral elements, oak, and slight spices. A fairly complex wine with several layers to unwrap while tasting. Of course, a food ready wine and one forgets about the layers and just enjoys. This guy has some good tannin and alcohol so one would think this should last in the cellar for several years. But then again, life is short to save good wine,
