Monday, May 3, 2021 - I know this is a lovely wine from my previous tasting notes. As an experiment, paired this evening with pasta and red sauce. Not a good idea at all. Thought the acidity in the tomato sauce would pair well with the acidity in the Pinot. Next time will pair with a Tuscan or Piedmontese wine.

    5/4/2021 1:57:00 PM - I've shied away from pinot and pasta sauce also. I still find that sangiovese is the best grape pairing for pasta and sauce.

    5/4/2021 4:43:00 PM - A good lesson for me. Had the other half of the bottle tonight with stuffed peppers and it was sublime.
