On the palate it seemed a little dense with some peppery tannins on the finish. I couldn't tell this from a supermarket cabernet saugivnon. Which is why I don't buy cabernet. Fred, who brought it, said it was better five years ago but felt it was still holding. Nice to try Ronald Reagan's favorite wine.
