Monday, March 25, 2013 - Purchased at auction and bottle appeared in very good condition with fill into the neck, clean label and a capsule that spun. This bottle was not corked and did not show any signs of heat damage on tasting. However, while there were appealing tones of cedar, cigar and hints of black fruit the palate was a let down. It was just muddled with little to no structure or defining character. It pailed in comparison to some older Laurel Glens we had. I'm a little sad since this was my first chance to try this vintage and it just appears to be on the downside. I hate to say it but I would drink up if you have it.
