The nose was big and attractive with apricot, honey & spice. The rich tropical fruit & apricot could not overcome a pungent astringency on the palate. Lots of acidity. Slightly alcoholic. While I was never banking on this being a stunner, it is really just your average, easy to grasp sweet wine. Ideal for a sweet, creamy dessert. But, unlike a great sweetie, not the best on its own.
