Thursday, January 30, 2014 - Drank from magnum. No decant. A ton of sediment in the bottle. A nice syrah with red fruit on the nose. Typical Cali syrah with some over ripe fruit/sugar going on. Seems like this wine might be a little more muted since its release and this could be a good thing. Finish is smooth. 16.9% alc and hides it well. Drank with our main course so likely hid some of the alc.
