Friday, May 6, 2022 - TASTING NOTES: Straw yellow color, heading to golden hue. Medium+ primary nose of tangerine, lime, melon, and jasmine. The palate is full and fat, with ripe peaches, white flowers, and more of the lime. I’m getting minor hints of apricot and honey, so the wine is just starting to convert some of its primary flavors to tertiary ones. Medium length citrus and minerality at the end, with acid keeping up to sharp finish. This wine is dry, med+ acidity, med- alcohol, medium flavor intensity, full body. Very good wine that is just starting to give hints of maturing flavors.
This wine would go well with a white meats, mushroom dishes, and goat cheese - maybe even an Asian ginger beef/chicken dish that doesn’t have any heat.
