2018 Ridge Lytton Springs

Community Tasting Note

91 Points

Thursday, December 24, 2020 - Very tight on opening with the acid prominent, needed a good 90 minutes of air to open up. Full of black fruit, good weight and richness to the fruit, lots of acid, oak more subtly in the background than young Ridge zins can show. Delicious and showing well with air, with the fruit mostly burying the fine tannins.
