Saturday, January 19, 2013 - Aromas of violets and spice, with a touch of grilled meat . As much cherry as the expected blackberry, and the acidity was the dominate balancing agent, as the tannins were minimal. Opened up over the course of an hour, showing licorice and smokey spices. This wine has plenty of life left. Drink over the next 3-5 years.
