Saturday, January 31, 2015 - From Magnum. Drank at Sutton's for guys' annual birthday dinner accompanied by home 21 day dry aged prime grade prime rib (from Costco, of course). Followed 2001 Shafer Sunspot mag and more than held its own. Really perfect balance going with the meat, good flavors but not over the top or in conflict with the meal. I know this was relatively inexpensive so clearly a steal in the world of big boys. Wish I had bought more. Drink soon, though. Don't see this holding up so well another 10 years.
