Monday, April 21, 2008 - Compared to the '03 which I tasted roughly one year ago, the '04 is less restrained and larger scaled. Very lush, rich, and massive in the mouth, there is a lot of fruit and substance here, as well as tannic grip. The nose features muted aromas of red fruits (cherry, blackberry, etc.), and hints of mocha and leather. Today it's all about stature and structure, very voluptuous and impressive. It should be a real special experience in about 10 years! 92-95.
