Wednesday, May 16, 2018 - Excellent Cabernet from Beringer! Very good nose followed by a burst of fruit on the front palate melding into a very well balanced mid palate of mineral flavors and spices, very good acidity and finishing with some still present tannins and a medium length after taste. Beringer Private Reserve always seems to come through with a reliably high quality product. This bottle was shared with a tri-tip steak and it greatly enhanced the flavor and enjoyment of the meal. This wine has years left of development so there's no rush to drink it
