Saturday, May 16, 2020 - Probably being unfair, could be a solid 95. Now reaching it’s 3rd hour of decanting and hitting on all cylinders. Deep dark color just starting to take on the subdued hue of a mature Cabernet. Beautiful nose of black cherry with a hint of French vanilla. Was a heavyweight at one time but now presenting as a medium to light mouthfeel with wonderful finish of black cherry. Impossible to imagine this getting any better. Drink now, what a treat! Would definitely give the ‘04 Anderson’s Conn Valley Estate Reserve Cabernet a run for its money. Can’t wait to try them side-by-side!
